Why do we need CART?
Access to communication has been gaining momentum since the enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990. The ADA ensures that all people have access to communications via accommodations such as CART.
CART provides a valuable service to live events, making them more accessible for all. It allows those who are hard of hearing to access information, and without fear of missing key information. It also makes the information more accessible to those who are viewing an event live, providing details and information they might otherwise miss.
CART is available both on-site and remotely, making it a flexible option for enabling communication accessibility.
